White solar panels – a breakthrough for architectural integration

Solaxess

Solaxess SA is a company that focuses on the development, production and marketing of a nanotechnology film that enables the manufacture of entirely uniform white and colored photovoltaic modules. This is an essential detail for the development of “active” facades in the field of BIPV (building-integrated photovoltaics). Thanks to this breakthrough, Solaxess SA is set to become a major player in the photovoltaic sector. Neuchâtel, October 28, 2014 – The CSEM announces the development of the very first white solar panels. This innovative technology is particularly attractive to the construction industry, as it will enable photovoltaic elements to be entirely integrated into buildings and establish them as unobtrusive and efficient energy sources. The same technology could also be applied to the consumer goods sector.
